Dear 4th District Neighbor:


I am running for Tacoma City Council because I love my neighborhood and I want to improve and enhance our community.  My campaign will be a partnership among all community members focusing directly on the needs of the 4th District.

When going door- to- door, many residents have been telling me about the challenges families face trying to provide a safe and enriching environment for their children.   Concerns have also been raised about public safety and how our neighbors are continually subjected to lawless behavior such as home robberies, car theft, speeding, and gang encroachment.  In addition, several individuals have highlighted the dilemma seniors and disabled individuals encounter as they strive to remain within their community of choice.  However, many of you have told me how much you love living in the 4th District and that sentiment is the strength and heart of our community that will move us forward.

I have 20 years of experience working as a healthcare administrator and educator.  I have helped many local neighborhoods to obtain financing for new construction of affordable housing, child care, and senior facilities.  My understanding of public finance and community development will assist us in acquiring new infrastructure for the 4th District.

As a long-term resident,  I am acutely aware that representing District 4 on the Tacoma City Council is not a part time job. If you honor me with your vote, I will work full time to benefit our residents, community groups, and businesses.

As your 4th district city council representative, I pledge to work in partnership with you, responding to the needs of our community together.
