- Finance research and development to ensure sustainable economic growth.

Affordable Healthcare
Strategic Actions:
- Advocate for access to high quality healthcare;
- Assist in securing funding for Family Support Services and Adult Day Health;
- Coordinate with providers to implement Preschool and Parish nurse programs;
- Identify community partners to develop "walk-in" and "after hours" clinics.
"While the Federal government overhauls healthcare, Washington's Basic Health is planning to eliminate 40,000 members. We need leaders knowledgeable in this complex policy area. As a former Healthcare Executive and advisor to the Washington State Legislature and Department of Health I will be a strong advocate for our community."
Infrastructure
Strategic Actions:
- Facilitate a community-owned planning process to prioritize development projects;
- Resolve transportation, storm water, garbage, and road maintenance issues;
- Advocate for high-quality and affordable family and special needs housing;
- Plan for pedestrian and bicycle paths and conservation of historic architecture and open space.

Public Safety:
Strategic Actions
- Support District 4 Community-based Services initiative;
- Advocate for additional police and fire protection services;
- Partner with Public Safety personnel to serve the needs of District 4;
- Work to improve disaster preparedness in our community.

entail extending weekend coverage of Police and Animal Control services."
